Provincial Cup - Past Results

Bays United usually has between 2-4 Gold teams qualify each season for the the Provincial B Cup finals in July. It's an extremely difficult road to even qualify for the final tournament of 8 regional BC teams, so these teams are already "champions" of sorts when they arrive. Many Bays teams have gone on to distinguish themselves with gold, silver or bronze medals at the Provincial finals over the years, and several more have made a good showing as runners-up:

2008 - U15 Girls "Thunder" (silver), U16 Girls "Samba" (competed in U17 Provincial Cup)

2007 - U14 Girls "Thunder (silver), U15 Girls "Samba" (bronze), U14 Boys "Ginga" (8th)

2006 - U14 Girls "Samba" (gold), U15 Girls "Raiders" (gold), U18 Boys "Merlins" (5th)

2005 - U14 Girls "Raiders" (gold?), U18 Girls "Lynx" (bronze)

2004 - U17 Girls "Lynx" (gold)

2003 - U16 Girls "Lynx" (silver)

1993 - U14 Boys "Strikers" (gold)

1992 - U13 Boys "Strikers" (gold)

1991 - U12 Boys "Strikers" (gold)

FAQ for December 2008: What is our club's Intra-Club Permit Policy?

Bays United follows the LISA policy. LISA allows teams in a club to bring up players from a lower division to play in league games by using an Intra-Club Permit. Intra-Club Permits cannot be used for Cup Play. The Intra-Club Permit is found on the LISA Website in the forms page. A maximum of 3 players are allowed to be permitted for any given game.
