Team Travel Guidelines for Post Season Play when advancing as the Lower Island Representative
Document Requirements For Team Travel
Congratulations, your team has successfully captured a Lower Island Championship in League, Provincial A, B, Coastal C Cup or you have captured the Island Championship in A, B, Coastal Cup and have advanced to the Coastal Classic Cup Playdowns and or Provincial A,B Cup Finals.
You have expended great amounts of energy and emotion in achieving your current success. Now, you must strategize and prepare for the newest hurdles placed before you.
Bays United youth teams traveling outside of the Lower Island Soccer Association District for Post Season Cup Playdowns will be required to carry the following documentation;
Player, Coach, Team Official Identification Cards
- Head & Shoulder style photographs (digital or print) are to be recorded (player, coach, assistant coach, manager) and forwarded to the club registrar within a timely fashion to the club registrar. The club registrar will marry the images with provincial registration data and forward the completed cards to a team manager or coach.
- Player identification cards are presented to the head referee prior to each game. The referee or referee's assistant may hold onto the cards until the completion of the game. It is the responsibility of the team coach or manager to retrieve the cards at the end of a game.
- A referee may keep in her/his possession; a player/team official identification card if a Red Card is produced.
- Team lists with player uniform number, BCSA player identification number and date of birth are presented to the referee and game officials prior to the commencement of an out of District Cup competition.
Team Emergency Documentation
- Team manager/coach to carry emergency contact information, BC Medical/Care Card information for each player, coach and team official.
